My dog Ellie is a Camp Mikey regular, and at this point they're more like friends than a daycare.
A few times a year, I have to travel, and Ellie ends up staying with them for a couple of weeks at a time. Not once have they made me feel like I was asking for too much. They just say yes, and then send me photos of Ellie living her best life.

And Ellie? Every week she comes back home so happy. Completely wrecked, too. She plays so hard all day that she comes home starving, eats her dinner in about four seconds, then passes out and doesn't move until morning. I've started to suspect she likes it there more than she likes her house, and honestly, fair enough.
What gets me is that it isn't just a service. They've built this genuinely magical little world for the dogs, and they love every single one of them like their own. That's not something you can fake, and you can see it in the dogs when they walk in the door.
So here's my position: every dog deserves at least one Camp Mikey day a week. Not just Ellie. Every single dog in Ireland. I'm willing to campaign on this.

Where do you collect from?
Camp Mikey provides door-to-door Dog Bus collection and drop-off for dogs living in Bray.
What are your daycare hours?
- Half Day Daycare: 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Full Day Daycare: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Morning collections usually take place between 7:15am and 8:00am.
Home drop-offs usually take place between 1:00pm–1:45pm and 5:00pm–5:45pm.
How much does daycare cost?
Full-day daycare is €50 and half-day daycare is €40, with Dog Bus collection and drop-off included. Discounts are available.

Yes. All campers must be up to date with their vaccinations, including Kennel Cough, before attending Camp Mikey.
How do I join Camp Mikey?
Every new camper starts with a trial day. This allows us to assess how they settle into the group and ensures Camp Mikey is the right fit for them.

Dogs only need to bring their lead and harness.
Full-day campers are welcome to bring a packed lunch if they would normally eat during the day.

Absolutely. Dogs are supervised at all times throughout the day. We carefully manage play, rest and group interactions to ensure every camper remains safe, comfortable and happy.
Will my dog come home muddy?
Yes. No. Maybe.
Camp Mikey is built around real outdoor play on natural grass, so muddy paws can happen, especially during wetter weather. We clean every camper before they head home and do our best to return them looking as tidy as possible.
Do you offer overnight stays?
Yes. Overnight stays are available exclusively to existing Camp Mikey daycare campers.
